GOFACTORY is an "industrial internet of things" startup that makes it easy to connect devices with people and systems. GOFACTORY Smart Agents allow network-attached machines, devices, or sensors to act as intelligent peers and communicate with each other and their human counterparts, in real time. Think broken traffic light that automatically signals the defective part number to the nearest maintenance technician, bypassing the need for diagnostics inspection or routing through a central dispatch. 1stWave collaborated with GOFACTORY founders to develop the brand look and feel, website, brochures and sales presentations.
In a crowded marketplace with competing enterprise software startups as well as Fortune 500 companies muscling into the same service space, how would GOFACTORY stand out? We knew for sure not to use the tried-and-true enterprise software color scheme of muted greys and blues. We chose bright reds and oranges to make the GOFACTORY brand memorable and distinctive. In the process of developing the look and feel, however, we were careful not to create a design that was too edgy for their B2B software service offerings.
